Education Opportunities

Restaurant and Retailer Education Opportunities

To help ensure restaurants and retailers have access to balanced information on the health and nutrition benefits of farmed salmon, the BCSFA is pleased to announce staff education sessions in either Vancouver, Victoria or Campbell River. We can give your staff an informative, clear and concise overview of the farmed salmon debate and answers to questions consumers may ask.

Our team will tailor a presentation depending on your staff's current understanding of the issues. Typically we cover the environmental and social issues related to farmed salmon and conduct a Q&A session focusing on:

  1. The nutritional benefits of farmed and wild salmon
  2. Raising healthy fish
  3. Environmental sustainability
  4. The global market for BC salmon

We also offer farm tours.

Please contact us to book an education session for your establishment.
