Building Community to Take Action
As many of you know, our work is geared toward the livelihoods of so many British Columbians as the largest agricultural export in British Columbia; we take our jobs and our business seriously.
The BCSFA believes that working together to save wild salmon is of the utmost importance.
We feel that wild salmon are a marvel of nature and an important cultural symbol and we want to see them protected and their populations enhanced. The BCSFA feels that we need to work together to save our wild salmon stocks and there are ways we can do this.
We need to work together to speak up and speak out about this industry that is a large part of all of our lives. We ask you to help us by educating and engaging in the issues and the hot topics. We need your support and your voice.
Become educated- Read about both sides of the issues, aquaculture isn't well represented online, and we are working to change that. Take a tour of a salmon farm. Find other ways in the community to learn about the value of salmon farms.
Speak up- We are, and so can you! Take action online: comment on articles, become a fan of BCSFA's Facebook page (click here) and follow us on twitter @BCSalmonFarmers for the latest news and updates.
Become involved and take action to inspire others - Lets make our cause their cause.
We are speaking up, and speaking out. Please join us!
